Before heading out of town on a well deserved vacation (in the States, not at my glorious time-share in the MidEast), we had the “revealing” ultrasound for Snake III. I’ve been looking forward to this ultrasound because it cuts all our arguments in half: now it’s just the name game for a boy or a girl, not both. In the last Congressional session, Pam had proposed and passed the middle name, but managed to somehow sneak the first name into it as well. So to keep things fair, this time we have an agreement that I now have the majority vote in the name game.
To be sure and accurate, we viewed twice and concluded once: it’s gonna be a Snakette! Brenden’s gonna have a little sister. If you look in the highlighted green area between the legs below, you’ll notice the absence of the goods.
Of course, both Pam and I are stoked. We wanted at least one of each sex… I’m just glad we didn’t have to try 5 times to achieve that – well lemme rephrase that: I think Pam’s glad we didn’t have to try 5 times to achieve that. And like before (while pregnant with kid #1), the proud Mom is pictured at left, almost at the halfway point of 19 weeks.
The first thing I did when I got home, even before cranking out this post, was to make sure everything is set. You know what they say: prior planning prevents piss-poor performance. In this case, to any potential suitors out there: it’s cleaned, polished, oiled and under my bed now. You’re screwed.

I am so excited for you!!! Sorry if I squealed too loudly into the phone. But I am sure you completely understand: you are HAVING A GIRL!! (btw: great title. I thought titling our “revealing” post was a little less pc but now I don’t feel so bad. I think we titled it hamburger or hot dog). ;)
Haha on the gun – I am letting my wife take care of that dept. which will be WORSE for any potential suitors than they can ever imagine, if it ends up anything like her mom was when I was dating my wife.
Now I’ll have two of each! Looking forward to seeing them in person!!!!!!!!!!!
