Holy bejeezuz!  Tonight I saw the coolest lightening storm I’ve ever seen hovering right in our backyard.   It’s been 100°F plus high humidity the past couple of days which has given way to some good house-shaking thunder boomers. This one takes the cake though.

I just had to record this for posterity’s sake.  Please keep in mind it’s night and I’m shooting this with my little party camera so don’t expect Spielberg quality.  The noises in the background (minus the obvious thunder) are tree frogs going ape-shit over some rain heading their way.

My my, That was an active one! I love a good lightning storm (as long as the thunder is several seconds after the lightning flash)

Pam, I know how much you love a good T-storm. So you must have loved it. I wish I’d been there to, I love T-storms too. How did Brenden and the pups handle the storm?

I think Kim is the only one that doen’t like a good T-Storm. See you in a couple of weeks.

WOW! That’s AWESOME footage!! Worthy of a lightening watch! I like that part, just not the CRACK-FLASH at the same time that makes you know it was DIRECTLY overhead!!! You caught some nice video, not to mention that you actually caught it in the still picture too!!! Good work!!
