That’s 30 weeks down, for ignorant people like me – 25% more to go until I get to play “quarterback” as Pam hikes the precious cargo.
In the 1 whole day I’ve had to myself (meaning not at work) from the past 2-3 weeks, I managed to escape with Pam to the hospital for a “special” check-up. I say special because there was no medically-based reason to get the ultra-sound that we signed up for. The kid is healthy, and no vital information was really pulled (like heartbeat, testing for stuff, etc.). Rather, it was just more of a “gee-whiz” to get a better idea of what young Snakeye Jr. will look like. Perhaps it will help our quest to narrow down a name. Prior to the appointment, Pam and I had finally come to agree on “McLovin” but after getting an idea of what the kid looked like, it’s back to the drawing board. Oh well. Really though, the goal will be to pull a few names and hold off until he’s born to make the final decision.
